Whanganui 2030: What Happened? Workshop
This hands-on, collaborative workshop invites participants to work backwards from a possible future for Whanganui.
Imagine it is 2030 and Whanganui is recognised as one of the world's most interesting small design cities. What happened to get us here?
This hands-on, collaborative workshop with Victoria Campbell invites participants to work backwards from a possible future for Whanganui and explore what we need to create, change, connect or start doing now. The session will draw on Whanganui's design legacy, its current creative and innovation ecology, and the opportunities sitting in front of the city as part of Festival of Design Aotearoa.
Participants do not need to be designers. The workshop is for people interested in what Whanganui could become and the part they might play in helping shape that future.
