Lee Erihāpeti Williams is a Whanganui-based Costume and Production Designer, Textile Artist and Filmmaker, and Founder and Creative Director of Paetuia Studio.
Her career across Aotearoa’s screen and performing arts industries spans work with Wētā Workshop, Stone Street Studios, World of WearableArt, New Zealand Opera, Wellington Opera, New Zealand Opera School and the Royal New Zealand Ballet.
A world builder, Lee combines a keen design eye, specialist costume craftsmanship and deep material intelligence, moving from story and concept to cloth, body, character and performance. Through Paetuia, she is building specialist costume capability and shaping the future of costume practice in Aotearoa.
