Minnie Baragwanath is an internationally renowned access innovator, author, speaker, and coach based in Whanganui. Her commitment to advancing an equitable world for people living with a disability spans more than 30 years. Minnie believes that contemporary accessible design plays a critical role in advancing greater equity for all.
Minnie founded the Global Centre of Possibility in 2020, a disruptive incubator for designers and innovators who live with an impairment.
Minnie’s awards include the New Zealand Order of Merit, the Sir Peter Blake Leadership Award, the Westpac Women of Influence Diversity Award, and the Zonta Women’s Award. She was also a top 10 finalist for the Kiwibank New Zealander of the Year Award.
