Greg Donson is senior curator and programmes manager at Te Whare o Rehua Sarjeant Gallery in Whanganui, where he has led the development and delivery of the gallery’s exhibition and public programmes since 2007. He has curated and collaborated on a wide range of exhibitions, publications, and artist projects, working closely with established and emerging artists from across Aotearoa New Zealand. A passionate advocate for contemporary art and public engagement, Greg has helped shape the Sarjeant Gallery’s nationally respected Tylee Cottage artist residency programme and has worked with nearly 50 resident artists. His curatorial practice is driven by a commitment to creativity, scholarship, and meaningful community connection.
